It was a complete build-out so everything needed to be decided: carpet, wall color, baseboards, light fixtures, furniture. She did a phenomenal job of walking me through the process of choosing paint colors for the waiting room, hallway and office that set the necessary tone while also reflecting my individual taste. I can't say enough about my positive experience with Amber Golob. She was the designer for my kitchen/first floor renovation. It was a very large project for me operationally, expense wise and near-and-dear to my heart. I LIVE in my kitchen and I love to cook and entertain. First and foremost, Amber is technically smart and detailed with a keen eye for budget/costs, construction details/measurements, etc. She is also quite artistic and creative in her approach. She had great and original ideas and could flex design-wise in many directions. There is no cookie cutter approach to her work. She has excellent taste and can work in many styles. I tend to like to mix styles tastefully and she was a big help with that. And lastly she is absolutely a "breath of fresh air". She is always positive with a great attitude, doesn't get rattled when things shift or problems crop up. She is clear/concise and holds her own very well with contractors. I selected my own custom cabinet maker and used a combination of my contractors and hers and universally everyone loved working with her. That is so important in a kitchen remodel because you are living together as a team for a few months and Amber's customer service and project management made for a harmonious experience for us all. I love my kitchen and all the changes we made on my first floor. She did a fabulous job guiding me in marrying the old and new and making it all fresh while keeping an eye on my budget. She also has great customer service skills. In the 8 months or so we worked pretty closely on this project, I never had to wait for a response from Amber. She always got back to me in a very appropriate timeframe sometimes shockingly quick. She is thorough and complete in her responses and follow-up. The best recommendation I can give her is more business - which I have. We continue to use her. I have also recommended her to two of my neighbors who are mid-project with her. I have used Amber's services for two major projects-a complete kitchen remodel and also a re-decorating project of a first floor space including a living, dining, family and powder room. The kitchen remodel was both very technical as we were designing cabnetry and a new layout for appliances as well as design focused. I thought Amber nailed both parts of the project. My kitchen was amazing and everyone who saw it commented on how fantastic it had turned out. The re-decorating project focuses on furniture, lighting, wall coverings and art work.
